Upper School Students perform the haunting play,
Dark of the Moon

            (Greenwich, CT – November 8, 2006) – Greenwich Academy and Brunswick students will present the Upper School fall play,Dark of the Moon, on Friday, November 17, and Saturday, November 18, at 7:00 p.m. at Massey Theater, in the Wallace Performing Arts Center at Greenwich Academy.

Set in the Smokey Mountains of Appalachia in the early 1920s, the Howard Richardson and William Berney play, also known as “The Ballad of Barbara Allen,” is legendary for its haunting atmosphere and vivid imagery.  It is the story of an elfin witch boy who falls in love with the beautiful human girl, Barbara Allen.  The trials and tribulations that follow prove the power of love and music.
