Group VIII to present The Best of Broadway

Clips from classic Broadway musicals were the highlight of the Greenwich Academy’s Group VIII production, The Best of Broadway. The Group VIII girls strutted their stuff down the “Street of the Midnight Sun” with hits from Bye, Bye Birdie, Annie get Your Gun, Kiss Me Kate, Hello Dolly, and Sweet Charity.  Dramatic scenes featured selections from On the Town, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, as well as an original melodrama, The Peril’s of Pauline.

Capturing the dazzling diversity of the Great White Way, The Best of Broadway was a huge success!

Written and directed by Dawn Fuller, Greenwich Academy Drama Teacher. With costumes by Dawn Korinek, lighting design by Mark Murray, and sets by Eric Everett.
