Varsity Ice Hockey Team Visits Middlebury College

Coach Moe Tarrant and the varsity ice hockey team visited Middlebury College in Vermont on Friday, February 3, and Saturday, February 4, 2006. The students had an opportunity to hear about the hockey program and the college during a luncheon with one of the deans. " It was a great chance for the girls to look at a college, and for our team to bond before our season ends, " said Coach Tarrant. In addition, the students had an opportunity to watch the Middlebury teams, ranked # 1 in the nation in Division III schools, play and to compare their skills to some of the top players in the nation. On Saturday, GA's varsity team played Southfield School, another girls' day school.
